ABOUT
Danny Patrick is a multi talented singer/songwriter/producer from Nottingham (UK).
He has grown up with music. Writing his first song at the age of 10, and performing live on stage for the first time at the young age of 8.
During childhood, Danny performed up and down the country at any opportunities he could find. Appearing in many competitions such as BBC Radio Nottingham’s "Karaoke Kids" contest, to bars & clubs up and down the country. He also helped lay down vocals for other artists tracks at Confetti studios.
In 2010 Danny digitally released his first single "Cold As Ice." The track was produced by Ebonic. (Of Orlando, Florida) and was originally composed as possibly intended to feature in the TV Series "The Legend Of Bruce Lee."
To promote the track, Danny appeared in a video feature with the Nottingham Post & was featured on Capital FM's "Notts Unsigned" Podcast on various occasions.
In May 2011 "D-TV" was launched on Youtube to keep fans in the know of all goings on. "D-TV" was a webisode series that featured exclusive live cover versions, new material first and unreleased tracks from Danny.
Danny has played at local places, events & venues such as: The Maze, Rock City, Junktion 7, the 2009 Nottingham Caribbean Carnival & The Old Market Square on various occasions.
Outside his home town he has also played at a number of venues around the UK including the Kasbah in Coventry supporting Navi with boyband Frixion. He also performed at various events around Blackpool with his time at "All Round Music." Highlights included playing live at Stanley Park, and appearing 2 years running at the Blackpool Variety Show.
The debut EP from Danny entitled "Body Rock" was released late 2011 and is the combination of 6 of his favorite tracks recorded over a 3 year period. The EP includes his single "Cold As Ice," the live favorite "Pose," "Stay With Me" (as featured on Dean Jackson's "The Beat - BBC Introducing" show,) as well as 2 other tracks and a special acoustic version of "Cold As Ice." "Body Rock" can be found online for stream and purchase digitally at iTunes, Spotify & Amazon. Physical CD's are also being sold on www.dannypatrick.co.uk.
In 2012 a cover of Santana's "Smooth" was released online due to popular feedback from live gigs. The single "Turn It Up" featuring Kamtru was also digitally released on October 22nd following an appearance at the Blackpool 2012 Variety Show.
In 2013 Danny collaborated with the talented Heath Lanzillotti on the single “Talk Dirty To Me” which was featured on “Nottingham Live!”
In 2014-2015 Danny released 2 more collaborations with Heath Lanzillotti. The club track “Anymore” & the inspiring “Live Your Life (Your Way). The latter marking Danny’s 2nd appearance on Dean Jackson's "The Beat - BBC Introducing" radio show.
In 2016 Danny is focusing on writing music for other artists as well as working on new material.
